  • Features and Applications

    The varistor is a resistor with two-direction I -V characteristics. When the applied voltage is higher than the threshold voltage, the varistor is in "ON" state to limit voltage increases so as to absorb surge voltage and to protect circuit. The varistor is mainly used in IC, switching circuit, electric circuit etc. to restrain surge current and as the over voltage protector.
